On the 14th day of February 1972, the law firm of Crump and Angermeier was formed on the second floor of the old First National Bank Building by F. Jefferson Crump, III and Gerald G. Angermeier. Ralph L. Jewell was admitted as a general partner on the 21st day of July 1975, after being in solo practice for several years; on the same date the partnership moved into its present building which was constructed especially for the needs of the firm.
Ralph L. Jewell retired from the active practice of law on the 30th day of June 1988. Jerry E. Prall joined the firm as an associate in 1990. Gerald G. Angermeier died on the 27th day of March 2005. Jerry E. Prall was added as a partner on April 3, 2005.
The firm serves Bartholomew County and the surrounding counties in the general practice of law. The firm strives daily to give its clients good quality and cost effective service.
