Jini Koh is an associate in the International Trade Group in the firm's Washington, DC office.
Jini's practice involves advising clients on both transactional and structural issues to ensure regulatory compliance with U.S. customs and other international trade regulatory regimes. Jini's expertise covers a variety of trade matters including complex intercompany valuation, use of trade preference programs and free trade agreements, antidumping and countervailing duties, litigation and import compliance. She has helped numerous companies identify cost savings opportunities, increase customs operational efficiencies and reduce internal control and compliance risk. Jini assists companies from a diverse range of industry sectors, including apparel and footwear, jewelry, electronics, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, industrial products, consumer products, and automotive. Jini also represents clients before the principal U.S. federal agencies regulating trade, including U.S. Customs & Border Protection and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Jini was a manager at a national accounting firm assisting multinational companies on customs and indirect tax matters. Her focus areas in that position included intercompany agreements and transfer pricing, restructuring or merger & acquisition activity, prior disclosures, internal and government audits, and foreign trade zones. Jini also served as a law clerk to Senior Judge Nicholas Tsoucalas, U.S. Court of International Trade.
