Mr. Forrester joined the Firm in June 2008 after over 35 years of experience in the public finance area, first as a lawyer and more recently as an investment banker. Both as a lawyer and as a banker, Mr. Forrester focused on public finance transactions presenting unique or difficult Federal tax or other legal issues. Mr. Forrester was primarily responsible for development of the first forward delivery bond structure (First Boston's REDs product) and the development of the senior/subordinated refunding structure for large reserve fund model SRF programs. Mr. Forrester is a member of the American Bar Association's Sections of Taxation and Business Law, the New York State Bar Association's Section of Taxation and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
