Biography

John Swingle focuses his practice on patent litigation and patent prosecution. Mr. Swingle's practice also includes client counseling, due diligence, valuation and licensing matters.

Before joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Swingle was as an intellectual property associate for a law firm in Irvine, California.

Mr. Swingle is licensed to practice in the state of California and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the California Bar Association.

He earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Duke University and a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
