CONCENTRATION John Pietila is a shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm and a member of the firm's Business Division. He concentrates his practice primarily on business and regulatory matters, including business organizations and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, strategic joint ventures, commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance and policy issues in select industries. SUMMARY John provides strategic advice and assistance in managing a wide spectrum of legal and regulatory issues in the agribusiness, rural telecommunications, renewable energy and communications and media industries. He works extensively with independent telecommunications, cable television and broadband service providers and affiliated businesses in Iowa and throughout the Midwest. John's work includes matters involving the Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission, Rural Utilities Service and the Iowa Utilities Board.
