John specializes in all types of insurance litigation. Mr. Edson represents insurance companies that are sued for bad faith, fraud and unfair competition. His clients include Allstate Insurance Companies, Infinity, Travelers and State Farm. He represents insurance clients throughout Southern California. He also represents Allstate in bad faith cases in other states. Mr. Edson received his Juris Doctorate from Boalt Hall at UC Berkeley in 1996. As part of a joint degree program, he also received a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1995. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at San Diego in 1992. Mr. Edson previously worked as an extern for the former California State Supreme Court Justice Edward Panelli and Federal District Judge William Orrick Jr. He is also a former President of the Associated Students at the University of California at San Diego.
