John Callan is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the Tax & Individual Planning and Estates & Trusts Practices. His practice encompasses tax and estate planning; planning for retirement distributions; saving for college; charitable planning; estate, gift and generation-skipping taxes; fiduciary and personal income taxes, marital property law; probate; and trust administration. Mr. Callan is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, and the Milwaukee Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Mr. Callan is a graduate of Marquette University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in 1980 and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, in 1984.
