Areas of Practice
John Forsythe is an attorney in Lane Powell's Labor and Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Group. He concentrates his practice representing small and large employers in employment-related litigation involving discrimination, wrongful discharge, ERISA, race, gender, religion, retaliation, family responsibility discrimination and disability claims. He also represents retailers in various personal injury and tort-related claims in arbitration and at trial. He has an active practice before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the Washington State Human Rights Commission, handling administrative charges for Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, John worked for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Montana where he prepared appellate briefs addressing constitutional issues, for submission to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
