John Kenrick concentrates his practice on the litigation of claims involving engineering and related issues and has frequently worked with a wide range of experts in developing the testimony and evidence needed to prosecute or defend such claims. He has substantial experience in construction litigation, including owner's errors and omissions claims against architects/engineers/construction managers, natural gas industry litigation, nuclear energy litigation and regulation, litigation to protect trade secrets, proprietary and other confidential information, covenant not-to-compete litigation, workers' compensation, personal injury, and mass tort litigation. John also has over 30 years experience in the area of legal ethics and professional responsibility. He currently serves the firm as Legal Ethics Advisor to the General Counsel of the firm.
Representative Matters
· Spent considerable time representing Port Authority of Allegheny County, as plaintiff, in a series of lawsuits against Port Authority's architect/engineer/construction manager on the $300 million South Hills Light Rail Transit (LRT) project.
