John T. Dunlap is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm's Energy Industry Team and the Finance & Financial Institutions and Transactional & Securities Practices.
Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Dunlap was a group home coordinator with ChildServe, a nonprofit agency in Iowa. While a law student, he served as a legal intern for the Honorable Judge Joel Novak of the Fifth Judicial District of Iowa.
Mr. Dunlap earned his law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2009). He was elected to the Order of the Coif, and was a managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Dunlap participated in the Sherman Minton Moot Court and volunteered with the New Orleans Pro Bono Project. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa (B.A., English and journalism, 2004).
Mr. Dunlap is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.
