John W. Black is a litigation associate in Jorden Burt's Washington, DC office. Mr. Black specializes in complex litigation and class actions, primarily representing insurance companies and financial service entities. He has extensive experience in a variety of state and federal substantive areas, including consumer protection actions, RICO, unfair competition, and deceptive trade practices claims. Mr. Black also has experience litigating actions related to annuity products and corporate owned life insurance and has also counseled clients in connection with insurance market conduct examinations and regulatory investigations. Mr. Black practices in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
