Jonathan assists clients involved in all types of insurance litigation (including general liability, professional liability, directors and officers coverage, and personal lines claims), and was named a "Rising Star" among insurance attorneys under forty. Jonathan focuses especially on extracontractual matters related to general liability, professional liability, and personal lines coverages.
In addition to insurance litigation, Jonathan handles professional liability litigation involving insurance agents and brokers, lawyers, and accountants, and has experience in commercial and sales litigation (with a focus in the aircraft industry), employment litigation, products liability matters, and litigation involving government agencies. Jonathan also regularly counsels both individuals and small businesses with respect to employment-related agreements and professional services contracts.
Jonathan is also active in the local community and maintains a significant pro bono practice, including the effective representation of a September 11 victim in a benefits dispute with the government, and the successful representation of his neighborhood association in its application for tax-exempt status.
