Jonathan D. Mattingly is a partner in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. His primary practice is litigation, with a concentration on insurance coverage matters, commercial and contract disputes, and personal injury and products liability defense, including allegedly toxic products. He has a secondary practice in intellectual property and trade regulation litigation.
Mr. Mattingly received his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of Notre Dame in 1995. He received his J.D. degree magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 1998. While in law school, Mr. Mattingly served as the symposium editor of the Indiana Law Review and received the CALI Excellence Award for top performance in torts.
Mr. Mattingly is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before Indiana state and federal courts.
