A partner at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, Mr. Llevat is head of the Intellectual and Industrial Property and Data Protection practice. He has broad experience in those areas, both in litigation on industrial and intellectual property rights as well as in advising on contracts on those areas. His clients are leading Spanish and foreign companies from a wide range of sectors, from food and beverage to fashion, pharmaceutical or healthcare products, among many others.
An advisor in the areas of information technology and technology transfer, he has led some of the most important transactions on IT outsourcing in the Spanish market.

Mr. Llevat has been a member of the Barcelona Bar Association since 1986, and of the New York Bar Association since 1988.
He is also a member of the main associations for industrial and intellectual property: the European Patent Lawyers Association, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the International Trademark Association, the Licensing Executive Society, and MARQUES. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Revista Aranzadi de Derecho y Nuevas Tecnologías and is an arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Author of numerous articles and publications on topics related to industrial and intellectual property rights as well as technology transfer, he lectures regularly in national and international forums on these areas. Some conferences and publications are for example:
