| Biography | Jose A. Aquino practices in the area of commercial litigation with a concentration in construction law. Mr. Aquino's experience includes all aspects of construction law with an emphasis on litigation, alternate dispute resolution, mechanics' lien law and public contract law. Mr. Aquino regularly advises owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and sureties regarding all stages of the construction process. He represents clients in matters involving construction disputes, mechanics' lien foreclosures, trust fund issues, surety and insurance issues, prevailing wage issues and bankruptcy proceedings. He has settled disputes relating to default and convenience terminations, change orders, design defects, delays and property damage claims. His government contract experience includes bid disputes, contractor qualification disputes, prevailing wage disputes and negotiation of change orders. Mr. Aquino is a 1993 graduate of Brooklyn Law School and a graduate of New York University.
