José Carlos Costa has extensive experience in tax matters, having served during his career as Secretary of the Court of the General Directorate of direct contributions from El Salvador, the Legal Counsel of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Finance of El Salvador, Judge of the Honorable Court of Justice, Administrative Litigation Court of El Salvador and, for 17 consecutive years, President of the Court of Appeals. With an experience of over thirty years, he has advised numerous corporate clients and individuals on taxation, structuring proprietary schemes both locally and internationally, in addition to having a vast knowledge of litigation in tax matters.
