| Biography | After a nationwide search in 2003, Joe was selected by CNA HealthPro to be one of eight members of its National Birth Trauma Panel and, in 2007, Joe was elected by the members of the panel as Co-Chairperson. He is responsible for multiple states in which he provides resources for local counsel regarding the weaknesses of plaintiffs' theories, defense theories, medical literature, and potential experts. He also responds to calls asking him to enter cases as trial counsel, sometimes receiving the call while local counsel is in the process of selecting the jury. Joe frequently makes presentations to health care providers, insurance companies, and attorneys on topics Member, Ohio Society of Healthcare Risk Managers and American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
