Joseph M. DeFranco was born in Pensacola, Florida, and is a life-long resident of Florida. Joseph attended Florida State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology in 1991. Prior to attending Florida State University, Mr. DeFranco served as a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Barry University School of Law in 2005. Mr. DeFranco worked as a claims representative and supervisor in the insurance industry for over 14 years and, during that time, earned the distinguished Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation, as well as the Associate in Claims designation. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before all Florida courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
