Professional Experience
Joseph O. McPartland focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, particularly in the electrical, software, and business method arts. Some of the technologies he has worked with include electronics, computer hardware and software, information security, audio/video media recognition and management, telecommunications, optical equipment, semiconductor devices, digital imaging devices, financial transaction systems, and e-commerce.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McPartland was employed for several years as an electrical engineer in the radar industry. In particular, Mr. McPartland was involved in the development of hardware and firmware components of airborne multi-mode radar systems.
