| Biography | Joseph Finkelstein concentrates his practice in commercial real property transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, expansions, redevelopment and repositioning of retail properties and shopping centers and other commercial properties, real estate financing, title insurance, and other real property matters. He is experienced in matters involving a wide range of commercial properties, including regional malls and shopping centers, office buildings, multi-family apartments, residential developments, parking garages, hotels, restaurants, industrial properties, warehouses, resort properties and golf courses, casinos, condominium properties, land development projects, mixed-use projects, billboards and outdoor advertising, Superfund sites, and environmentally contaminated properties. Mr. Finkelstein has extensive experience representing developers, institutional investors, REITs, pension funds, financial institutions, insurance companies, national and regional retailers, property owners, landlords and tenants, homebuilders, brokers, and title insurance companies. He counsels in: · complex acquisitions and sales, portfolio transactions, REAs, anchor, big-box and inline leases, joint ventures, ground leasing, management agreements, financing, development, construction, workouts, foreclosures, and title insurance claims. Mr. Finkelstein is recognized by Chambers USA as a leader in real estate law. Chambers notes that he "impresses commentators with his proficiency in financing and leasing.
