Josh is an Associate practicing in the Public Finance Section of the firm's Boston office. Previously, Josh served as a 2008 Summer Associate.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Josh completed a year-long fellowship in the Consumer Rights Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS), where he worked primarily on foreclosure prevention and loan modifications for low-income clients throughout the Greater Boston area. This involved negotiations with the banks and initiating legal action through the federally administered Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). While there, Josh negotiated a permanent loan modification on behalf of a client facing an imminent foreclosure sale, and was subsequently featured on the cover of the fall/winter 2010 Greater Boston Legal Services Newsletter. The modification cut almost $2,000 off the client's monthly payments and allowed him and his wife to remain in their home.
In the fall of 2009, Josh worked in the Massachusetts Governor's Office of Legal Counsel, assisting the chief counsel and deputies on a wide variety of issues relating to the governor and his office. He also acted as a judicial intern for the Hon. Nancy Gertner at the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Josh is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. He received his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
