Joyce Sun is an associate in the Firm's Business Services Department and a member of the Real Estate Transactions, Real Estate Lending, and Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice groups. Her work involves complex commercial real estate matters and property law, including the sale, purchase, financing, and leasing of industrial, retail, and residential real estate. She also has counseled housing authorities on procurement and represented them in Inspector General and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development reviews.
Areas of Experience
Business Services
· Special counsel to a large international glass and aluminum fabricator in connection with the sale of substantially all of its assets under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code.
· Advised national developer on revisions of sale documents in connection with the Pennsylvania Uniform Planned Community Act and Uniform Condominium Act.
· Representation of for-profit education provider with respect to real estate undertakings and government contracts in connection with negotiations with government entity.
Government and Regulatory Affairs
· Counsel to public housing authority on complex procurements of goods and services, including construction contracts and projects to be funded with federal stimulus grants.
· Representation of public housing authority in Inspector General and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development reviews.
