Experience
Juan Martinez focuses his practice on commercial, construction and real estate litigation. He has extensive experience handling a wide array of real estate disputes including commercial foreclosures, title disputes, commercial leases and receiverships. He also maintains an active practice in the commercial context, including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes and business frauds.
Juan is a frequent author and lecturer in the areas of real estate foreclosures, title litigation and the Uniform Commercial Code. He has also been published in the area of enforcement of judgments rendered by tribunals in foreign countries. Juan has been selected as one of South Florida's "Top Attorneys" in the 2012 issue of South Florida Legal Guide and as a Top "Up and Comer" in the 2006 through 2009 issues. He was also recognized as a member of the "Legal Elite" by Florida Trend magazine in 2007.
Background
Juan received his B.A. from Florida International University in 1991, and his J.D. degree from Florida State University in 1994. He was honored in 1994 for having achieved the highest grade on The Florida Bar Exam. Prior to joining GrayRobinson, P.A. in November 2008, Juan was a partner at Fowler White Burnett, P.A.
