Julia German is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Environmental Regulation Practices.
During law school, Ms. German was a summer associate with Foley where she assisted attorneys in litigation, regulatory and business assignments. She also served as a litigation intern in international human rights with the American Civil Liberties Union.
Ms. German earned her law degree from Duke University School of Law (J.D., 2009) where she served as an executive editor of Duke Journal of Gender Law & Policy and an articles editor of Duke Forum of Law and Social Change. She also was leadership chair of the Duke Bar Association and a semifinalist in the Duke Mock Trial. Ms. German was treasurer of the Mock Trial Board and earned best witness in the UNC Mock Trial Competition.
She earned her undergraduate degree from University of Colorado at Boulder (B.S., cum laude, 2004). Ms. German participated in the Scholarship for Study Abroad program and studied in Florence, Italy (2001).
Ms. German is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
