Biography

Julianne works on a variety of matters with an emphasis on commercial litigation. Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Julianne worked as both a summer and articling student at the firm. She has worked on cases before many levels of court including Small Claims Court, the Ontario Provincial Court, the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Appeal.

As an articling student, Julianne participated in the firm's secondment program at the criminal law offices of Greenspan Partners. During that time, Julianne attended and participated in preliminary inquiries, trials, set-date appearances and client meetings, and assisted with research and case preparation. She also had the opportunity to assist with a high-profile fraud trial.

While in law school, Julianne was co-ordinator of the Osgoode Mentor Program and worked as a caseworker in the Community Support Division of the Community and Legal Aid Services Program. She also directed, wrote, and performed in Mock Trial, Osgoode's annual variety show. Julianne received the Charles Edward Woodrow Award for Academic Excellence.

Prior to attending Osgoode, Julianne was an Attaché at the Holy See Mission to the United Nations in New York, where she attended meetings of the Second and Third Committees of General Assembly, and represented the delegation at various negotiations of both General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council.

Julianne is actively involved in several committees at Trinity College at the University of Toronto, and is a member of Corporation of the College.
