Julie Jauron deals with all aspects of intellectual property, in particular with trade-marks, patents and copyright. As a research lawyer, she delivers opinions, drafts memoranda, and assists other lawyers in the analysis and synthesis of the questions of law that arise at various stages of their mandates.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jauron clerked for the Honourable François Lemieux and the Honourable Edmond P. Blanchard at the Federal Court. During that time, she acquired significant expertise in federal administrative law and federal court proceedings.
In 2004-2005, while she was in law school, Ms. Jauron clerked for the Honourable Pierre J. Dalphond of the Quebec Court of Appeal. She was on the Dean's List and also won the Bereskin & Parr prize for the highest standing in intellectual property law.
