Julie S. Siegel represents management in various employment matters, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, wrongful discharge, defamation, and other employment torts.
She also regularly supports the Labor & Employment team on complex matters related to labor law, including arbitration proceedings, collective bargaining, charges of unfair labor practices and potential strikes.
Julie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law. While a student there, she was a member of the National Moot Court Team, an Associate Editor of the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy, and a Leadership Scholar. Julie served as the Chairperson of the Student Honor Board, as a Writing Fellow, and as a Teaching Assistant for the first-year writing seminar. Julie is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, R.H. Smith School of Business Honors Program, where she majored in Human Resource Management.
Prior to law school, Julie worked at Legg Mason & Co. as a Benefits Assistant.
Julie worked as a summer associate at Miles & Stockbridge in 2009.
