June Allison is the rare attorney at the firm who is active on both the commercial and litigation teams. She represents creditor clients in all three North Carolina Federal Court Districts. She has also handled numerous appellate matters, successfully arguing cases in the North Carolina Court of Appeals, North Carolina Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. As a result of her extensive litigation experience, June has a passion for assisting business clients to avoid the cost and stress of the process whenever possible, by drafting agreements that are clear and comprehensive and by assisting clients in cost/benefit analyses to come to reasonable, cost effective solutions whenever possible.
June was extensively involved in the Burlington, North Carolina community, serving on the Board of Directors of the local Meals on Wheels, Family Abuse Services; Child Resources and Referral, and committees of the Alamance Chamber of Commerce, Centennial Committee, and Downtown Corporation. She also served on the Appellate Rules Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Alamance County Bar Grievance Committee. In Charlotte, North Carolina, June has served two terms on the Board of Directors for The Dore Academy (now The John Crosland School), a. private school focusing on students with learning differences, and is currently serving on the Charlotte Community Board of Lawyer's Mutual Insurance, and as a House Operations Volunteer for The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, a charity near and dear to June's heart having benefited from their hospitality in several locations when her son was young.
June is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also received her Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration degrees (J.D. and M.B.A.) from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In law school, June was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the study of Creditors' Rights and was elected to Order of the Coif.
June is a voracious reader and is married to a native Charlottean; they have one incredible son, the world's friendliest dog and a very independent cat.
