Justin S. Liu is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Los Angeles office. He is currently a member of the firm's Litigation Department.
Mr. Liu graduated from Harvard Law School in 2010, where he served as an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology. He received his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Stanford University in 2007, where he was awarded the Philip R. Rhinelander Prize for outstanding work in philosophy and contribution to the intellectual life of the philosophy department. He previously interned at Google's legal department where he worked on compliance with data security and privacy laws, U.S. political ethics laws, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Mr. Liu is co-author of SEC Enforcement Actions against Outside Directors Offer Reminder for Boards, The Conference Board (June 2011).
Mr. Liu is admitted to practice in the State of California.
