Established in 2000, KLC Law Firm has quickly grown to become one of the largest and most well placed Law Firms in Greece.
The cross-jurisdictional expertise of KLC was enhanced in 2002 through the merger with the law office of "Th. Lamnidis & Associates" with a long established practice in the Balkans, Eastern Europe and the countries of the former Soviet Union. In June 2006 KLC merged with the Law Office of Professor Yiannis Drossos, which has further strengthened its legal expertise in Public Law and privatizations.
KLC's legal personnel amounts to 54 lawyers and out of them 12 are partners. All the lawyers have a high level of legal training and/or professional experience abroad, while 5 hold academic tenures. KLC's extensive activities in Europe along with its legal engagement in projects and inter-state agreements related to Energy, Transportation, International Commerce, Investments, Bank-Mergers, Privatizations etc. have led to the establishment of local offices in Bucharest and Sofia.
KLC has a strong and long-lasting experience in EU-financed projects involving central Asia, the Caucasus and other Eastern European countries, which has resulted in the development of a local presence and of an extensive network of lawyers, law firms and of other professional consultants in the referred countries, especially in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Ukraine.
KLC's name is linked with many landmark business deals and litigations that have taken place recently in Greece and internationally in the fields of Energy, Real Estate, M&As, etc. Its client base consists of Greek and multinational companies, both locally and abroad, that cover all vital sectors of economy, i.e. shipyards, aviation, banking and capital markets, the entertainment, food, pharmaceutical and heavy industries, real estate, energy, transportation, international organizations and financing groups.
