Kaci is an Associate in the Boston office, practicing in the Public Finance Section. She has served as bond counsel for public authorities in Massachusetts and Vermont in connection with tax-exempt financings related to transportation, housing, higher education, and bond banks. She has also served as underwriter's counsel on tax-exempt and taxable higher education financings.
Kaci participates in Mintz Levin's pro bono Lawyer for the Day program at the Boston Housing Court, advising low-income tenants who face eviction. She has also represented a pro bono client on a disability benefits appeal with the Social Security Administration. As a summer associate at the firm, Kaci also served a number of pro bono clients, including a local homeless shelter and a national civil rights organization.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Kaci was an attorney with Five Star Quality Care, Inc. Her work there included analyzing regulatory employment issues regarding nationwide assisted living communities, reviewing e-discovery law, and researching law on intimacy policies for elders with dementia.
Kaci received her JD from Cornell Law School, where she served as an associate for Cornell's Legal Information Institute Supreme Court Bulletin. She also participated in Cornell Law School's Water Law Clinic, where she advised soil and water conservation managers in New York State about new natural gas drilling regulations. Kaci received her BA in American Studies, summa cum laude, from Boston University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
