Kaitlin is an associate in the Casualty Department focusing on legal research and writing. Her practice is dedicated to drafting substantive motions and briefs on a broad range of legal issues, including products liability, premises liability, mass torts, invasion of privacy, and creditor's rights law. Kaitlin handles, and assists senior attorneys with, cases throughout the litigation process. She has provided extensive litigation and trial assistance for cases in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties, the Eastern and Middle District of Pennsylvania, as well as in the District of New Jersey and the New Jersey state courts.

Kaitlin graduated from Cornell University, magna cum laude, in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She then attended the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, receiving her juris doctor in 2007 and her Master of Laws in Transnational Law in 2008. During law school, Kaitlin studied abroad in Rome, Italy and Tokyo, Japan. She also spent a summer working at the law firm of Bacciardi & Partners in Pesaro, Italy. She was also a judicial clerk to the Honorable Heidi Willis Currier and the Honorable Fred Kieser, Jr., Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, Law Division. Kaitlin is a native of Philadelphia and resides with her family in the Northeast.

Reported CasesSignificant Representative Matters; Successful motion for summary judgment which resulted in the dismissal of the Dram Shop Liability claim against the owner of the Bar in which plaintiff and another defendant were allegedly fraternizing before Plaintiff was attacked by an unknown third person in the Bar's parking lot. ; Motion for summary judgment granted which dismissed all claims against the owner of a plant, wherein the court found that the plaintiff's employer, a subcontractor on the site, had assumed sole responsibility for the means, methods, techniques and procedures of its employees. Preliminary objections sustained on the issue of venue in a products liability action in which the plaintiff suffered third degree burns over her body and face allegedly as a result of a plastic extruder machine exploding on her. The case was transferred to Luzerne County, where the accident occurred. Successfully opposed Plaintiff's Motion for Remand to the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and transferred the action to the Middle District of Pennsylvania in a wrongful death case involving a fatal accident on a drilling rig.
