Li received his Bachelor of Science with High Distinction and Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Arizona. Mr. Li received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego Law School. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, the United States Federal Courts and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Li is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and also a registered professional engineer in the State of California. Mr. Li was selected for inclusion in the Southern California Super Lawyers® - San Diego list for Intellectual Property. He is also recognized as an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Li appears frequently as a guest speaker at professional conferences on intellectual property, international transactions and technology deployment issues and doing business in the Greater China region. He is a former president of the Pan-Asian Lawyers Association and actively provides pro-bono services to the Asian-American community. Mr. Li is a consultant to the San Diego World Trade Center and serves on the International Business Committee of the San Diego Telecom Council and the San Diego Software Industry Council.
