As a member of Parr Brown's Litigation practice group, Kara Houck has represented a wide range of clients in matters relating to commercial disputes, intellectual property/trade secret disputes, non-competition and non-solicitation agreement disputes, construction disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and real property disputes. Ms. Houck received a B.S. degree in resource conservation with a political science minor from The University of Montana, with honors, in 1996 and in 2000 received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago, magna cum laude. She also served as a clerk for Justice Howard Dana, Jr. at the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Ms. Houck was recognized as a "Rising Star" in the 2008 Mountain States Super Lawyers. She also served on the Salt Lake County Bar Association Executive Committee from 2006 to 2008.
