Kara Stewart is a Partner in the Litigation Department. Kara's practice has an emphasis in product liability in which she defends both domestic and international manufacturers of products ranging from household appliances to airplanes. She currently serves as liaison counsel for Yamaha in MDL 2016, coordinating more than 250 federal cases involving the Rhino. Her product liability practice in recent years has involved defending claims of unwanted acceleration, airbag non-deployment, aircraft crashes, fires, electrical injuries, automobile and ATV accidents. Kara also has significant experience in railroad defense, toxic torts, commercial litigation, and appellate advocacy.
