Karen focuses her current practice on patent litigation in the District of Delaware. In the course of her legal career, Karen has gained broad experience in the trial and appellate courts of Delaware and the Third Circuit, including Superior Court, Court of Chancery, Bankruptcy Court, Court of Common Pleas, Family Court, Supreme Court, District Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Karen has also handled arbitration proceedings in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
For over fifteen years, Karen has been a member of the Board of Editors of Delaware Lawyer magazine, and served as its Chair from 2000-2003. She is also a regular contributor to the magazine.
Prior Employment
Prior to joining Young Conaway, Karen was associated with the firms of Morris Nichols Arsht & Tunnell and Bouchard Margules & Friedlander, P.A., where she practiced general litigation and was involved in numerous patent litigations pending in the District of Delaware.
