Karl F. Reichenberger is senior counsel and a registered patent attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the Mechanical & Electromechanical Technology and Green Energy Technologies Practices.
Mr. Reichenberger counsels clients with respect to intellectual property law and strategy, with focus on patent-related matters. He has drafted over one hundred patent applications since joining Foley.
Mr. Reichenberger provides intellectual property counsel in technologies including control systems, software, video processing, networking and data communications, radar systems, automotive electronics, and consumer products. Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Reichenberger served as the database and Web site administrator for MCI WorldCom Inc.'s technology law and intellectual property departments in Washington, D.C. Mr. Reichenberger's responsibilities in this capacity included analysis, design, and programming of department software and database tools.
Mr. Reichenberger obtained his bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Bradley University (B.S., magna cum laude, 2001) and his law degree from The University of Iowa College of Law (J.D., with distinction, 2006). While in law school, he was an articles editor for The Journal of Corporation Law.
Mr. Reichenberger is admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin, as well as before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
