Biography

Katie represents employers in labor and employment litigation arising under federal and state law, including claims of discrimination and harassment based on sex, race, national origin, religion, age, and disability; claims of retaliation; and wage and hour violations. Katie has successfully defended a variety of clients against discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims under federal and state statutes, and has obtained dismissal of numerous claims on summary judgment. Katie also served as co-counsel for a national insurance company in a federal jury trial of disability discrimination claims, which resulted in a verdict for the client.
