Biography

Kathryn Pascover counsels and advises employers in employment matters and represents employers before administrative agencies and in state and federal courts on wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and retaliation matters including claims under Title VII, the ADEA, ADAAA, and FMLA. She has advised employers on reduction in force issues, group terminations, WARN Act and general separation issues. She represents employers in unfair labor practice litigation and R cases before the NLRB and advises employers during union organizing campaigns. Her clients have included employers in the manufacturing, automotive and automotive supplier, hospitality, insurance, and food industries as well as higher education employers. Earlier in her career, she was a Partner at Young & Perl in Memphis and previously served as Assistant Director of Law for the City of Akron, Ohio where she represented and advised city departments and elected officials on employment and economic development matters and conducted ongoing training.

Kathryn conducts training on sexual harassment, discrimination laws, labor updates, new legislation, and works with clients on maintaining a positive employee relations culture through regular training, assessments and audits.

Kathryn is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association. She is a judicial delegate to the Conference of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the United States.

ˇ Defense of distribution center employer in multiple plaintiff sexual harassment hostile work environment and retaliatory discharge claims

ˇ Successfully sought dismissal of state court litigation against multiple defendants in a wrongful termination, age discrimination, wiretap and tort claim lawsuit

ˇ Representation of employer in EEOC class action alleging race discrimination, harassment and retaliation

ˇ Defense of employers before the NLRB in unfair labor practice cases alleging unlawful discipline for engaging in protected concerted activity and unlawful termination

ˇ Representation of manufacturing employer in ADA regarded as litigation
