Katie M. Gray

Katie advises clients on all aspects of energy law and regulatory practice before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Maine Public Utilities Commission, and other administrative agencies. She has unique experience in licensing energy self-suppliers and obtaining authorizations for wholesale energy sales and purchases in the New England electricity market. She reviews and analyzes energy contracts, power purchase agreements, and asset purchase and sales agreements; conducts energy-related due diligence in the context of asset deals; drafts petitions, motions, and applications submitted to regulatory agencies; and researches intricate issues affecting electric and water utilities at both the state and federal levels.
