Keith R. Lorenze focuses his practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, equitable distribution of business and financial assets, spousal and child support, contested child custody cases, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Prior to joining Drexel LLC, Keith practiced civil litigation in a wide variety of areas, including commercial, labor & employment, higher education, securities, real estate, media, environmental, civil rights, and family law. Upon graduating from law school, he served as a judicial law clerk at the trial and appellate court levels, and subsequently honed his skills in private practice as an advocate for his clients before both state and federal trial courts, appellate courts, and administrative agencies. He also has significant experience in representing clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Keith’s professionalism and advocacy on behalf of his clients have been recognized by his peers, who have selected him for inclusion in the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” lists in both Texas (2007) and Pennsylvania (2010, 2011, and 2013).
Keith has taken an active role in his community and especially enjoys working with children. For several years he enthusiastically served as a volunteer coordinator for Special Olympics Texas. As Co-Chair of the Houston Bar Association’s Adopt-A-School Committee, Keith administered the HBA’s tutoring program at a local middle school located in one of the city’s most disadvantaged areas. After the program achieved significant gains in student participation and academic performance, in part as a result of his efforts, he received the HBA President’s Award for Outstanding Service.
