Kelley M. Johnson is an associate in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Kelley concentrates her practice primarily on commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing and joint ventures.
Acquisitions and Dispositions. Kelley has significant acquisitions and dispositions experience with a number of different property types, including transactions involving office buildings, retail malls and industrial complexes. Kelley has represented a real estate investment trust in the sale of a major class-A office building in Dallas and the purchase of an office building in Nashville, Tenn.
Financing. Kelley provides counsel to both borrowers and lenders in the negotiation and documentation of complex lending transactions secured by real estate.
Leasing. Kelley has significant experience in a variety of different leasing types, including health care, office, industrial and retail leasing. Kelley has negotiated numerous leases for a national specialty health care provider. Locally, Kelley has represented landlords in a number of retail and office leases.
Commercial Transactions. Kelley has provided counsel to national and regional companies in a wide variety of commercial transactions, including the structuring and negotiation of joint ventures, entity formation and other aspects of real estate transactions. Recently, Kelley represented a real estate fund in a joint venture involving the contribution and operation of fourteen industrial properties.
In General. Kelley graduated, magna cum laude, from Saint Joseph's University in 1999, where she studied political science and philosophy. Kelley received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002, where she was senior editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and an editor of the yearbook.
