Kelly counsels and litigates on behalf of insurer clients in insurance coverage matters arising nationwide. Kelly has also handled antitrust and other commercial litigation matters, as well as criminal investigations and inquiries by securities regulators. Currently, Kelly represents insurers in complex disputes arising under directors and officers and other professional liability policies, including matters involving securities and ERISA class actions, criminal and regulatory investigations, and commercial contractual disputes. Kelly has tried multiple cases to verdict and successfully argued motions in a variety of Virginia state and federal court actions.

Representation of international airline company in response to a grand jury subpoena involving an alleged global price-fixing conspiracy.
Representation of executive officers in criminal antitrust investigations conducted by the Department of Justice.
Representation of small public companies in response to informal inquiries by securities regulators.
Obtained summary judgment on behalf of local law enforcement officials in 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action alleging civil rights violations pending in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
