Kelly is an associate in the Boston office of Edwards Wildman. She assists on matters including US and international trademark portfolio management, trademark prosecution, trademark clearance and enforcement, various copyright protection matters, and internet domain name disputes.
•Conducts and reviews preliminary and comprehensive trademark clearance searches and advises clients on the feasibility of adopting proposed marks.
•Prepares, files, and prosecutes trademark applications in the U.S. on behalf of numerous clients in a broad range of industries.
•Drafts pre-litigation cease and desist letters, settlement agreements, and co-existence agreements for various clients.
•Provides intellectual property due diligence assessments to ensure that valuable intangible assets are transferred or divested properly.
Before Edwards Wildman
Prior to joining the firm, Kelly worked in-house at a national corporation in the sports apparel industry focusing primarily on trademark clearance and enforcement and trademark prosecution. During law school, Kelly was a Senior Editor for the University of New Hampshire Law Review. Kelly also traveled to Beijing and X'ian, China to attend classes and seminars discussing current Chinese, European, and U.S. intellectual property issues at the Tsinghua University School of Law with other U.S. and foreign colleagues.

Kelly enjoys swimming, cooking, and spending time during the summer months at her family's lakeside cabin in northern Maine.
