Kenneth Heywood is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, where he is a member of the firm's Electronics Practice. He previously served as a summer associate in Foley's Milwaukee office.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Heywood worked as a legal consultant for Rockwell Automation. During law school, he was a judicial intern to the Honorable John L. Coffey of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Milwaukee Chambers and to the Honorable Rudolph T. Randa, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Before pursuing a law degree, Mr. Heywood worked for four years as a computer programmer for Waters Corporation, a manufacturer of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry laboratory instrumentation.
Mr. Heywood earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2006) and obtained his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (B.S., 2009) and in computer science from the University of Chicago (B.S., 2000).
Mr. Heywood is admitted to practice in Wisconsin. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
