Professional Experience
Kenneth Grinnell is a partner in the firm's Individual Clients department. Mr. Grinnell has decades of experience advising clients on estate planning and administration, charitable giving and tax-exempt matters. His principal areas of practice are estate planning, estate and trust administration and related tax planning, including planning for business owners and international tax planning. He has extensive experience advising individuals and families in connection with international estate planning, including offshore trusts and corporations.
Mr. Grinnell has more than 20 years of experience in charitable planned giving, dealing with a broad range of outright and deferred gifts by individuals to organizations and foundations. He also represents foundations and other tax-exempt entities in connection with initial organizational matters, grantmaking, compliance with federal and state tax laws and fiduciary responsibility.
Mr. Grinnell is a frequent lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. and served on their curriculum committee. He gave programs for attorneys and accountants relating to estate and tax planning, and charitable planned giving, including various forms of wealth transfer and business succession planning.
