| Biography | Kerri L. Klein is a founding partner of POSKUS, CATON & KLEIN, P.C. Ms. Klein values close working relationships with her clients so that she can ensure their estate plans meets their unique personal and financial needs. She feels privileged to work with a diverse clientele and welcomes individuals from all walks of life. Ms. Klein is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado and is a member of the Trust and Estate Section of the Denver/Colorado Bar Association, where she chairs the Rules and Forms Committee, serves as a member of the Trust and Estate Council, and attends the Statutory Revisions Committee. She is also a member of the real property, probate and trust section of the American Bar Association. Prior to opening her own law firm, Ms. Klein gained valuable estate planning experience with a highest-rated firm and was mentored by an American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Fellow. Ms. Klein was selected by her peers as a Rising Star in 5280 magazine for 2009-2011 and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Klein received her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, in psychology from the University of Colorado. As an undergraduate, Ms. Klein completed a legal internship with the Weld County District Attorney's office, where she assisted with the Youth Diversion Program. Ms. Klein also completed an internship with the Boulder County Mental Health Center mentoring emotionally-disabled youth. Kerri is a native of Colorado, born and raised in Kersey, Colorado. She enjoys spending time hiking, cycling, snowshoeing and photographing the beautiful outdoors.
