· He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division during the invasion of Iraq in March 2003 and subsequent peace keeping operations. His military decorations include the Combat Action Badge, the Presidential Unit Citation Award, a Bronze Star Medal, the Parachutist Badge, and the Pathfinder Badge.
