Kevin K. Chase, a partner in the Orlando office, joined Wicker Smith in 1999. Appearing in both state and federal court, Mr. Chase focuses his trial practice in the areas of general civil litigation, medical malpractice, automobile liability, premises liability and products liability. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Mr. Chase attended Mississippi State University and was a scholarship athlete on the Varsity tennis team. In 1989, he was named to the Southeastern Conference Scholar Athlete Honor Roll. He graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts Communications, and then went on to earn a Juris Doctor in 1994 from the University of Mississippi. While in law school, he was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal from 1993 to 1994 and a member of the University of Alabama Law Review as a visiting student in 1994. Mr. Chase is admitted to practice in the state of Florida as well as the Middle District of Florida in the federal court and the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Eleventh Circuit. He is an active member in The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association.
