Kevin Omar Sidharta

Mr. Kevin Omar Sidharta joined ABNR as an associate in October 2002 soon after graduating cum laude from Leiden University with an LL.M degree in International Business Law. Previously, he graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia majoring in Business Law. Prior to obtaining his LL.M degree, he worked as a researcher in ABNR for the Implementation of Indonesian Bankruptcy Law Monitoring Project, a part of a technical assistance project funded jointly by the International Monetary Fund and the Netherlands Government. In 2001, he passed the receiver and administrator profession examination administered by the Indonesian Receivers and Administrators Association (Asosiasi Kurator Pengurus Indonesia), and has been an active contributor in workshops and seminars on the Indonesian bankruptcy legislation. In his current practice in ABNR, he has been involved in wide range of practice areas, including: bankruptcy/suspension of payments & international commercial arbitration/ commercial litigation, corporate matters and restructurings, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, environmental law issues, maritime law and various regulatory frameworks relating to international bond issuance.
